Summary:

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will be the world's premier institution dedicated to the art and science of movies. Located on Wilshire and Fairfax in Los Angeles, the Museum will be simultaneously immersive, experimental, educational, and entertaining. The Reporting and Stewardship Coordinator develops strategies for maximizing the capabilities of the software with an emphasis on efficient systems, provides proactive support in prospect development and donor stewardship, delivers training for department users, and implements best practices in information management. Reporting to the Manager of Advancement Services and Donor Relations, this position is responsible for database reporting, data analytics, and prospect research.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with various departments to execute queries, reports, exports and imports.
  • Create and distribute weekly development reports including reports on campaigns, pledge installments, new donors, and fundraising progress.
  • Work with finance to reconcile totals, and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.
  • Train end users and work proactively with staff, making recommendations and assisting in the design and analysis of reports and data.
  • Preparation of stewardship and research reports that support the Corporate and Grants team's efforts.
  • Develop Database standards guide including policy and procedures.
  • Process Luminate and other data transfers.
  • Manage and maintain all supporters lists.
  • Coordinate the review and updates of Advancement web pages.
  • Under the guidance of the Manager of Advancement Services and Donor Relations, conducts reactive research and prepares briefing materials for events and meetings, with emphasis on constituents' wealth, interests (including philanthropic interests) and relationships and analysis thereof.
  • Cross-train in multiple aspects of Advancement team support and perform other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of experience in a database or systems role. Non-profit fundraising experience preferred.
  • Experience in database reporting, data visualization, and data analysis.
  • Experience in Salesforce is preferred
  • Prospect research experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to discern relevant facts in problem-solving.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and the Donor Bill of Rights.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
