Share Email Opening Title Senior Structural Engineer  Description In this role, you will independently adhere to and apply standard structural engineering principles and techniques. Your excellent technical, written and oral communication skills will lend your expertise in writing proposals, scopes of work and preparing project budgets. Your experience and knowledge of MnDOT bridge design and plan development will help you to guide other team members as well. Other duties include: Serve as Task Lead to independently direct your team to meet deliverable dates with an emphasis on quality Structural design of steel, prestressed concrete, and cast-in-place concrete bridges Preliminary and final bridge plan development Development of quantity calculations, cost estimates and project specifications Design of minor structural elements of infrastructure projects, such as retaining walls, sign supports, and drainage structures. Collaboration with roadway, drainage, geotechnical and other disciplines to deliver high-quality project deliverables.
