Summary:
The Training Analyst supports the Army Joint Support Team (AJST) by providing training support services in a comprehensive approach that sustains and improves training fidelity associated with joint air operations command and control training programs during institutional education/training, during exercises/events conducted by the Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP), and other events as required.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provides Education and Training Support Requirements:
Joint Air Operations Command & Control Course (JAOC2C)
Air Operations Center (AOC) Initial Qualification Course and other related courses that are a part of the Air Force AOC Formal Training Unit
Specialized Joint Aerospace Training (SJAT)
Joint Senior Air and Space Staff Officers Course
Echelons Above Brigade Airspace Course
Other classes and courses of instruction that may be initiated that incorporate the knowledge, understanding, skills, and C2 systems associated with planning and executing DoD air operations capabilities or joint fires capabilities and which are supported by the Army Joint Support Team
Develops education and training products IAW Army training development processes reflected in Army Regulation 350-1 and TRADOC Regulation 350-70
Provides Army Battlefield Coordination Detachments (BCD) support
Provides Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) support
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Six years military experience
Experience of Army MC Systems (Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) for joint fires, Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) for joint airspace, DCGS-A for joint intelligence, GCCS-A for common operational picture (COP), Command Post of the Future (CPOF) for SA, Air And Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS) for air defense and protection) and Air Force AOC Weapon System Information Systems (i.e. Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) for Air Tasking Order (ATO) and Airspace Control Order (ACO) processing, GCCS-I3)
Knowledge of U.S. Military tactical communications, cyber, mission command, and command and control done in support joint air-ground intelligence, plans, and operations
Knowledge of architecture design incorporating Army MC Systems and Air Force AOC Weapon System Information Systems
Two years' experience as a Primary Operator with MC systems
IAT level I certified
Completed a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army MC Systems and software systems
Completed a formal course of study in the subject(s) to be taught
Successfully complete the 5-day Air Force Aerospace Instructor Training Course at Hurlburt Field
Subject matter expert who has operated the system under instruction.
Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
Possess superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with minimum guidance
Able to stand, walk or bend for long periods at a time
Able to lift up to 45 pounds
Knowledge of MS Office computer programs
Desired Qualifications:
Former military officer or NCO with Army Joint Support Team experience
