What are we looking for in a Case Manager?

Case Managers at Comprehensive need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills to support clients with learning new skills and to ensure that clients are connected with needed community resources. Case Managers provide supportive counseling and skills development through individual or groups sessions to assist clients with reaching their treatment and recovery goals.

This position is on the Corrections team and will provide case management services to clients independently and in conjunction with Department of Corrections (DOC) staff and service partners.

Case Manager duties may include:

  • collaborating with the client and the treatment team to develop a treatment plan that reflects the client’s treatment needs
  • assisting a client with completing and submitting benefit applications
  • transporting a client to the grocery store to learn about nutrition, food choices, and budgeting
  • facilitating educational, behavioral health, or skill building groups
  • visiting a client in their home or apartment to deliver medications, check on safety issues, or assist with life skill development
Position Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in social services or related field.

Professional Credentials: Eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor registration in WA

Other Requirements: Driver's License, Vehicle Liability Insurance
