Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Location HDT (Fredericksburg, VA)  


Applies broad knowledge and skills in specific practice areas. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria. General knowledge of principles and practices of related fields with the ability to function on multi-disciplined teams. Works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.


  • Manage inventory
    • Create bin locations
    • Manage inventory counts
    • Develop and maintain charts and graphs
    • Develop plans and schedules
    • Track all inventory transactions
  • Assist with purchasing tasks
    • Work with project managers/engineers to determine basis of award for returned quotes from suppliers
    • Create purchase orders in SAP
    • Direct liaison with suppliers
    • Process all mandated paperwork (ISO and Corporate) to add a new supplier to the approved supplier list in SAP
    • Maintain supplier records in SAP
    • Work with Quality to maintain ISO required documents for purchasing
    • Process inventory pulls in SAP
    • Run reports in SAP for projects
    • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
    • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Minimun of a high school diploma, five years of experience, SAP experience is preferred


  • Ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with management and personnel at all levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime when necessary
  • Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
