Description

As a FP&A Senior Financial Analyst at Ascentis, you will develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance. Centered around our cultural norms, you will help Ascentis scale ahead of organizational and market growth by participating as a key thought leader of the global finance team, influencing decision making and identifying finance priorities.

What are the general responsibilities of the position?

  • Routinely communicate business unit and company financial results and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics.
  • Analyze financial and business data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Regularly assist the executive team in special projects / reports.
  • Build and maintain models and processes to continuously improve the agility and accuracy of the company’s budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Make process recommendations within the company.
  • Lead scenario modeling efforts for the development and growth of the business.
  • Prepare presentations in support of board and shareholder meetings as well as monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings.
  • Participate in the financial modeling and due diligence efforts related to the company's ongoing M&A activities.

 
Position Requirements

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, especially with exposure to SaaS businesses
  • CPA - Big 4 experience preferred
  • Strong, professional communication and writing skills
  • Detail-oriented, excellent time manager, driven work ethic, and ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines
  • Value collaboration to meet objectives
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Preferred experience with Intacct and Host Analytics
