POSITION SUMMARY: BASIC FUNCTION
Assists Human Resources staff with daily tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and format word documents.
Create and format excel documents.
View employee data in HRIS.
Assist HR staff with distribution and collection of policies and communcations to employees.
Assist with set up of training sessions, including coordination of catering and technology.
Assist with employee events.
Assist with scanning of paper employee files into paperless system.
Filing.
Update documentation.
Upload and format documentation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of MS Office suite of tools.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good written skills required to adequately document system functionality.
Ability to logically analyze and solve problems.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.
Must be working towards a degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Two years experience using Microsoft Windows computer.
Two years experience using MS Office products.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
Close visual work on a computer terminal.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Able to climb a ladder and work on a raised platform.
WORK CONDITIONS
Typical office environment with extensive daily usage of a computer.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must work on-site; no telecommuting permitted.
Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver's license.
