Share Email Opening Title sUAS SMA Operator / Test Planner  Req Number SUB-19-00006   Category Subject Matter Expert   Sector/Group   Clearance Requirements Secret   Location Quantico, VA   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description Cervello Technologies is seeking an sUAS Operator / Test Planner in Quantico, VA to support the Integration of small Unmanned Aircraft Systems into Joint Airspace (sUAS). The seasoned candidate will support the Intergration of sUAS, which is directed to develop, test, and evaluate airspace control tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) to allow small Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) platforms to be integrated into the joint airspace. JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will participate in planning associated with potentital operations and coordinates with Maintenanance on repairs and flight testing and related technical analysis. Duties include the ability to safely operate multiple UAS platforms, knowledge and experience operating associated flight planning and flight management software in support of the sUAS QRT Candidate will focus on meeitng the warfighter's requirements to capitalize on the small UAS's unique capabilities, maximizing freedom of maneuver, and maximizing tactical contributions while balancing the need for safe integration into the joint airspace. Candidate will support the development of the test project plan, test planning, and TTP development effort, reports, conduct of the Joint Warfighters Advisory Groups (JWAGs), TTP writing groups, and Field Test events, test analysis and evaluations, test product transitions, and final out briefings of findings, conclustions, and recommendtions to senior leadership. Candidate with US Marine Corp experience is preferred Demonstrated experience and detailed knowledge with the Joint Test and Evaluation (JT&E) program. Conduct research, obtain relevant documents and directives, and establish liaison with appropriate sponsor and other interested participants. Apply test and evaluation methods and techniques that include test planning, operations research and systems analysis, and development of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). Identify the individual responsible for task management duties and provide test planning experience and operations research systems analysis experience to include test design, analysis, and evaluation Provide knowledge and operational experience with data centric systems, networks, and services. Background and understanding of TTP and TACSOP Planning and conducting UAS operations in the U.S. national airspace in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Administration Regulations Development and review technical documentation such as maintenance manuals, aircraft checklists, and flight training devices/equipment. Support the development and execution of the sUAS as required.
