POSITION SUMMARY: BASIC FUNCTION

The Senior IT PM/Outsourcing Specialist/BA will be an integral role in the RagingWire IT Services team and will be responsible for the preparation, negotiation, tracking, implementation and oversight of all RagingWire outsourced IT engagements and agreements. This position will undertake activities to provide source specialized support and assistance to RagingWire IT and other business departments as required, in the administration and negotiation of outsourced implementation and operational support of IT Services. Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance. They will also work directly with the IT Business Analysts as required to gather and develop project scopes and detailed business requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead in negotiating on behalf of RagingWire, Non-Disclosure Agreements, contractual terms, rate cards, and key performance indicators with outsourcing partners.

Assist RagingWire teams in the selection of niche vendors and specialized consultants through defined processes (which may include Request for Information, Request for Proposal, or other Due Diligence activities).

Collaborate with RagingWire stakeholders to ensure that contractual obligations and responsibilities as outlined in the Master Service Agreement/Contract/Consultancy Agreement/Work Orders are tracked and upheld.

Ensure that any contractual terms agreed upon are understood by relevant RagingWire and legal-responsible individuals, so that the Company and its vendors meet their legal obligations.

Ensure that processes are in place to allow efficient and effective communication to the vendors (including strategic partnerships informing the company of new project work).

Partner with the appropriate RagingWire business units to ensure that vendor time and resource usage in support of RagingWire business units is in compliance with the negotiated MSA/contractual terms and rate cards.

Audit all contracts in place within RagingWire and ensure that contracts are tracked in a central location.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external collaborators and stakeholders across all geographical regions.

Foster communication with senior management throughout the organization to promote increased cooperation and accountability for results.

Works directly with outsourced Project Managers on projects to ensure contracted services are delivered on time, within budget and according to specifications.

Develops, manages and distributes department forms, procedures, run books, reports, etc. as needed.

Recommends appropriate process and procedure revisions as needed to focus on continuous improvement.

Schedules and facilitates weekly project status meetings with vendors and project team.

Determines scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives and dependencies relating to projects.

Gathers business requirements and/or ensures current requirements are accurate and complete.

Deep understanding of both business and systems processes and an ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view.

Uses Microsoft Project to document, schedule, track and report on the various projects.

Documents and publishes meeting agendas and associated minutes, publishes and tracks action items, owners, and due dates.

Escalates team and client issues as appropriate.

Prepares status reports to keep management, clients, and project team informed of project status and related issues.

Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.

Adheres to pre-defined departmental objectives and metrics to provide high level of customer service.

Supports strategic departmental objectives.

Performs other tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong understanding of the role of outsourcing in an IT Service Delivery environment, including what is appropriate for an outsourcer to own versus internal resources.

Strong understanding of IT security best practices as well as the importance to remain compliant with all corporate policies.

Demonstrated proficient ability to facilitate, identify, validate, document, prioritize and manage business requirements (including use cases, conceptual data modeling, process modeling, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to manage and engage stakeholders, identify dependencies and impacts.

Working knowledge of Windows XP/7/10

Working knowledge of MS Project

Knowledge of IT Service Delivery preferred

Knowledge of IT managed services and/or cloud computing preferred

Knowledge of SAS70 and other industry certifications a plus

Knowledge of ITIL a plus

Possess excellent problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Possess excellent customer service skills

Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)

Highly motivated self-starter

Ability to multi-task and remain calm in dynamic environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or work experience required

Possession of a PMP and a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience which includes 5 years in direct outsourced vendor project management.

Current aCOP(S), COP(S) or equal certification desired or must obtain the aCOP(S) or COP(S) (Certified Outsourcing Specialist) credential within first year of employment

IIBA certification strongly desired or a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis for large scale technology projects.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.

Able to hear and speak with others and to use a telephone.

Close visual work on a computer terminal.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

WORK CONDITIONS

Data Center and typical office environment.

Daily usage of a computer and/or workstation keyboards and terminals.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Periodic travel to other locations, customer or vendor sites.

Must be able to respond to emergency situations at the data center.

Responsible to carry a cell phone and provide 24 x 7 support as needed.

Must be willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, late nights, holidays.

Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver's license.
