Job Summary

The overriding business objective for the Integration Engineer will be to support the design, development, and test of innovative aircraft Power Systems. The key performance objectives for this position are described below:

  • Integrate and test aircraft electrical power equipment development designs such as the new Integrated Starter Generator System and Aircraft Electrical Power Converters

  • Develop test procedures, perform tests, and document results from lab testing of aircraft equipment. Familiarity with DO-160 test approaches will be a plus.

  • Solve a variety of technical problems through integration of electrical hardware and embedded software controlled equipment using test results and analysis

  • Develop and document hardware and software test equipment solutions to enable test of aircraft electrical power equipment.

  • Guide technicians and other staff as required in performing development tests and custom test equipment build

In summary, the successful candidate will have a significant impact to the growth of Astronics. Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and/or other technical degree and 2+ years related experience.
