Purpose of Division

The National Initiatives Division is comprised of three program areas that focus on progressive research and program development to support and enhance the critical lines of business of NeighborWorks Organizations in homeownership, real estate and neighborhood development, and community building and engagement.

Position Summary

Reporting to the LIFT Post Launch Manager, the LIFT Post Launch Senior Specialist provides additional post launch support and guidance to NeighborWorks Organizations (NWOs) while maintaining open lines of communication with NWOs and Wells Fargo representatives to ensure smooth product delivery across all active LIFT markets. This individual will also participate in on-site visits as requested by the LIFT Post Launch Manager on a market-by-market basis. The LIFT Post Launch Senior specialist will work closely with the LIFT Post Launch Manager in analyzing market data and developing process improvements for future LIFT program delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain on-going communication with NeighborWorks Organizations facilitating the LIFT program to provide support and guidance on program processes and procedures.
  • Maintain on-going communication with Wells Fargo LIFT representatives in relation to active LIFT markets to provide information and solutions on case-by-case situations.
  • Monitor LIFT market client pipelines to analyze data with the goal of preemptively discovering technology and/or program process requirement errors and develop solutions to any errors or discrepancies found.
  • Engage with LIFT Post Launch consultants on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for market-specific updates on pipeline production, acceleration and deceleration of incoming applications, organizational capacity concerns, and Eligibility Determination Session (EDS) calendar volume.
  • Engage with LIFT Post Launch manager on a regular basis concerning LIFT market production and adverse findings and develop long-term solutions for repeated program process discrepancies.
  • Assist with LIFT pipeline data validation on an as-needed basis.
  • Participate in weekly/bi-weekly Wells Fargo Pipeline review conference calls to provide additional information to NWO and or Wells Fargo representatives.
  • Assist LIFT Post Launch manager with program process improvements and/or alterations on a market-specific basis.
  • Attend LIFT Launch events in certain markets, as well as assist in facilitating scheduled Post Launch visits or unscheduled post launch visits as requested by the LIFT Post Launch Manager.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

Nature of Work Contacts:

Serve as a reliable contact point for NWOs facilitating the LIFT program and Wells Fargo representative to maintain open lines of communication and consistent post launch support. This individual would be responsible developing solutions and providing guidance in various scenarios, including, but not limited to, technology errors or irregularities, client eligibility calculations and requirements, and collaboration between multiple NWOs in LIFT markets involving partnership organizations.

Position Requirements

Required Minimum Qualifications:
(a) Education: A bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college. Will consider relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
(b) Experience: 2 years Non-profit mortgage lending preferred, but not required.

(c) Licenses, Certifications: None

(d) Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong Communication skills; Strong Organizational skills; Adept mortgage loan origination knowledge;

(f) Technology: Minimum 1 year experience with Salesforce technology platform; Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; Minimum 1 year experience with at least 2 Loan origination software platforms

Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years’ experience in mortgage lending: Origination, Processing, Underwriting and/or Closing; 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce technology platform; Previous experience with facilitating the LIFT Down Payment Assistance program; Current valid Mortgage Loan Originator License

(a) Travel: Up to 40%
(b) Physical/Sensory Demands: Fast paced work environment, extensive computer usage. Must maintain regular and timely attendance.
