Summary of Job Purpose
The IT Administrator position will be responsible for both the daily operations of the Dodge Ridge IT Department as well as assisting with long-term IT plans to improve work-place efficiency and guest and employee experiences, while supporting company values. The IT Administrator will be responsible for providing IT related assistance, support, trouble shooting and maintenance for Dodge Ridge computer software, applications, servers, and other IT related equipment. The position will also provide IT related support, training and assistance to the Dodge Ridge Staff. This position is a key member of the Dodge Ridge Team and works under the operational direction of the President and CEO.

Install and maintain local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes and wiring.
Evaluate local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and make recommendations.
Monitor and maintain company telephone system.
Learn in detail the architecture of the Point of Sale system (Siriusware); be the technical resource for this system, provide assistance to other departments who interact with Siriusware.
Monitor and maintain network stability.
Perform routine backup and restoration procedures.
Ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the IT systems.
Coordinate maintenance for network hardware and software.
Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.
As needed, load approved software packages such as operating systems, word processing or spreadsheet programs on computers.
Respond to and track inquiries concerning system operations and diagnose system hardware, software and operator problems.
Manage internet bandwidth usage, and network firewall security.
Manage webcams, weather station and other on mountain network equipment.
Manage offsite network components including Ecommerce and Webserver
Instruct users in use of hardware and software.
Plan for future expansion of facilities from an IT standpoint.
Prepare and maintain hardware maintenance and replacement plans.
Develop proactive ways for the IT department to operate i.e. communicate with managers regularly and develop relationships with vendors
Enforce the company’s network Security procedures
Maintain accurate IT related documentation
Analyze costs and needs of operations and then be able to select the appropriate configuration, hardware or software devices
Other duties as assigned.
