Math Curriculum Writer, Grade 6-12 

Description

The CPM Math Curriculum Writer works as a team player to create middle school and high school math curricula. Writes lessons, homework problems, teacher notes, develops ideas for new eTools or other technology products, and other supplemental and supporting materials for math courses, grades 6 – 12. Reads others’ work and provides descriptive effective feedback; proofreads, comments, paraphrases, reorders, and edits work based on feedback.

Position Requirements

Understands what a student centered, problem-based classroom should look and sound like. Can write lessons and all supporting materials for a student-centered, problem-based classroom that encourages discourse and emphasizes connections. Is able to communicate clearly, both in writing and in working with writers either in person or virtually. Able to use technology and applications, such as the Google Suite, Slack, and Desmos.

Wage Range $37/hr - $50/hr, DOE
