Account Manager 

About the Organization Allied Oil & Supply, Inc. is a family owned business head-quartered in Omaha, NE. Allied Oil is a lubricant distribution business which sells to the passenger car, truck, and manufacturing segments. The company's six branches sell and distribute premium branded product such as: Shell, Petro-Canada, Chevron, Valvoline, Premium Blue, CAT, Bio Blend, & Allied private label. The company has locations in Omaha, NE, Sioux Falls, SD, Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Joplin, MO, and Wichita, KS.

We are looking for an Account Manager with not only a strong knowledge of oil and tires but a passion for business development and sales.

The primary duty for the Account Manager position is making sales and obtaining orders. Account Manager will customarily and regularly be engaged away from the employer's place of business.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Communicate customer and prospect engagement via CRM
  • Create and manage business rules for all their customers that are doing retreads
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of product and/or services
  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Embrace product knowledge training and pass on this information to customers and prospects
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns
  • Follows all Allied processes and procedures for safety
  • Help with collecting on accounts and get PO's for orders
  • Identifies prospective customer needs
  • Manage contracts for their customers
  • Manages ongoing customer relations
  • Meet established sales and gross profit goals and other objectives
  • Presents solutions in a professional, concise and comprehensive manner.
  • Quotes prices and prepare sales contracts
  • Responsible for scheduling service on their vehicle and keep clean
  • Turn all orders in 24 hours before scheduled routes for customer deliveries
  • Turn in demand planning on all new business
  • Write all adjustments up for all tires (new and retread)

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years sales experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current driver's license.
