Share Email Opening Title 350 Bingo Shift Supervisor  Location Palace Casino & Hotel   Description POSITION SUMMARY Assists the Bingo Manager with the daily operations of the bingo department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Has the ability to perform all functions of supervised positions. Supervises bingo department employees and assists the bingo manager, as needed. Determines the staffing needs and finds replacements to ensure appropriate coverage. Assigns employees to provide for efficient operation of the department. Understands and enforces all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the department. Keeps bingo manager informed of shift activities. Keeps personnel informed of necessary information. Determines whether or not the facilities and the equipment are functioning properly. Provides assistance to employees' requests, questions, and problems. Is responsible for checking with employees to see if anything is needed such as money fills, etc., during session. Assists department personnel with job duties and responsibilities as necessary. Has the ability to step in and help out in any position as required. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned   Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Good attendance and punctuality a must. Excellent supervisory, time management, organizational, public relations, and communications skills. Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment. EDUCATION AND SKILLS Education Required: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency (GED). Experience: Six months to one year of supervisory and bingo experience. Computer Skills: Must have strong computer skills.
