Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide research and recovery of real estate documents as requested by clients and/or internal departments.

KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of internal workflows and procedures specific to the organization (typically learned on the job);

Proper usage of the English language (both verbal and written), to include grammar and punctuation;

Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook), and internet research;

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Good communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;

Research and follow instructions, as well as an ability to make routine decisions based on instruction and information provided;

Proficient and accurate word processing and data entry (alpha and numeric) skills;

Ability to read, write, interpret written and verbal English instruction, and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision;

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos;

Organize and prioritize workload, ensuring deadlines are met;

Ability to work in a fast pace, team-oriented environment;

Flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently or in a team setting;

Ability to work a structured work schedule; however, depending on the workload, the schedule could change;

Ability to operate various office equipment (e.g., telephone, fax, printer, 10-key, PC, etc.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide research and recovery support as requested by clients and internal departments;

Work with large volume spreadsheets;

Maintain high level of quality service for customers

Maintain periodic reports for multiple clients

Other duties as assigned/directed by Operations Manager

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of mortgage industry desired.
