Inside/Outside Sales for Southwest Power Tools (SWPT) Farmington, NM Position Overview This person works cooperatively with the SWPT District Team Members to manage Customer relationships and achieve sales goals. The position is based in Farmington, NM and reports directly to the SWPT District Manager. The job requires working at times up to 50 hours per week. The individual in this position must possess a strong work ethic, have excellent communication skills, be bright and attentive to Customers and Suppliers, have a positive and comfortable demeanor; be precise, timely, and accurate in their business dealings; embrace additional training and be willing to be mentored for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develops a complete understanding of company products and services. Provides quotes, schedules field jobs, manages inventory, shipping, receiving, and deliveries. Achieves sales targets and ensures Customer satisfaction. Researches and provides forecasting for sales activities in the assigned sales territory or account. Develops strong understanding of sales targets and Customer satisfaction metrics to enhance Customer relationships. Identifies Customer's needs and sales opportunities to drive District and Company growth. Responds to Customer concerns in a positive manner. Identifies, researches, and contacts prospective Customers and builds positive business relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business for District performance excellence. Demonstrates mastery of available sales tools, marketing materials and sales processes to promote an efficient and effective sales process. Contributes to the Company’s continuous improvement culture. Learns and complies with all safety policies and procedures. Maintains appropriate business confidentiality. Performs other duties as assigned. |
