This position requires tight deadlines and various accounting activities including, but not limited to: client billing and collections; journal entries; month/year-end reconciliation and close; financial reporting; and year-end audit and tax support. Essential Job Functions: Experience using Yardi for the below. Opportunity funds AND core funds IRR and TWRs Quarterly or monthly NAV calculation Capital Statements Fixed Assets JV waterfall calculations Capital Calls and Distribution management Bank Reconciliations Carry Plan Administration Private REIT, Fund and Separate A/C Financial Reporting Responsibilities: Prepare quarterly fair value reconciliations for real estate and debt Identify exceptions and problems affecting accounting records, communicate same to management, and assist in their resolution Assist with tracking capital account activity including capital calls and distributions to investors and funded and unfunded commitments to the investment vehicles Prepare monthly client bills, maintain client contracts and ensure compliance with financial terms Process client payments, prepare weekly AR aging reports and provide collections assistance as needed Assist with project manager and management team's requests and reporting Monitor vendor contracts and provide accounts payable support Prepare and post journal entries Complete bank reconciliations accurately and timely Maintain fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and reconcile to the general ledger Prepare month and year-end reconciliations and assist with close process Ensure time and expense is in compliance with internal policies and client contracts; assist with expense report review and processing Assist with audit and tax preparations for all RF entities and affiliates Financial analysis and modeling both for overall business and individual contracts Assist with international issues, filings, and certifications Research and respond to financial requests and questions and assist with special projects Maintain books and records in accordance with department policies and procedures.   Category Management Consulting   Location Dallas   Position Fund Accountant   Position Requirements Requirements 3-5 years of accounting experience with 2+ years of fund-level accounting. BA/BS in Accounting/Finance. Strong fundamental accounting technical skills including IFRS and/or GAAP financial statements Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to work independently, but be a team player Strong sense of client service and satisfaction Other Skills/Abilities CPA or CPA candidate preferred International/multi-currency experience a plus Experience with Yardi (Investment Management module preferred).
