Share Email Opening Title CONTRACTOR - Environmental Modifications  Category Maintenance   Description Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board (CMCSB) is seeking Licensed Contractor to complete physical adaptions to homes of individuals with developmental disabilities served by CMCSB. The contractor will perform small jobs in a variety of homes within the community that are necessary to ensure the health, welfare and safety of the individual. Modifications may include installation of ramps and grab-bars, widening of doors, modification of bathroom facilities, installation of plumbing or electrical systems, and other modifications necessary for the welfare of the individual.   Position Requirements Requirements for this position include: Contractor must be a licensed contractor Must possess a General Liability Insurance policy and provide proof of insurance Must possess a worker’s compensation insurance policy and provide proof of insurance Must use a building inspector and purchase a building permit Must provide an itemized estimate, which cannot exceed $5,000 per job Must warranty workmanship Must submit a final, itemized bill for payment, accompanied by the final building inspector report   Full-Time/Part-Time Independent Contractor   Shift Various Shifts   Tags   Travel Requirements   Position CONTRACTOR - Environmental Modifications   Close Date   Number of Openings 1   Req Number MAI-19-00001   Open Date 3/21/2019   Location Unknown at this time   About the Organization CMCSB was formed in 1972 as a Chapter 10 Community Services Board under Virginia law. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
