POSITION SUMMARY: BASIC FUNCTION

Reporting directly to the SVP and Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Sales Operations directs RagingWire's investments in Salesforce effectiveness and manages functions essential to Salesforce productivity. These include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, and sales compensation design and administration.

This position promotes close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization's efficient operation and success. This includes the direct oversight of sales process and system investments to improve upon Salesforce effectiveness and deployment, metrics/measurements. Assists with best practices for the recruitment and selection of Salesforce talent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Designs, implements, and manages sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting used by the sales organization. Ensures planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within RagingWire.

Provides leadership to the sales organization, and counsel to the SVP&CRO in implementing sales organization objectives that reflect RagingWire business objectives.

Assigns Salesforce quotas and ensures that RagingWire's financial objectives are optimized and allocated to all sales channels and resources through the quota program.

Partners with senior sales management to identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Fosters an environment of continuous improvement.

Prioritizes investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity.

Manages and implements the optimal deployment of sales personnel. Makes recommendations for changing sales roles, coverage models, or team configurations in order to maximize sales productivity.

Works closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs to ensure sales organization success.

Ensures sales reports and other intelligence is provided to the sales organization and develops new reporting tools and dashboard KPIs needed for measurement.

Works closely with sales leadership and Human Resources to establish a Salesforce training plan focused on development and reinforcing critical sales competencies.

Over sees sales compensation plan administration. Establishes sales compensation program rules, policies and procedures. The sales operations team will act as a core point for analysis, modeling impact and alignment to global recommendations.

Accountable for implementation of sales organization quotas and performance objectives.

Responsible for the efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources impacting the sales organization.

Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting of essential for sales organization effectiveness.

Directs the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales management resources as needed.

Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other senior executives.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.

Must have a proven track record at analyzing complex data sets and providing actionable and insightful data to all levels of business management

Highly effective, influential communication skills, complimented by ability to construct and deliver complex business presentations.

A passion for uncovering then addressing high-impact sales operations challenges.

Successful record of Program/Project Management is a plus.

Experience in implementing new programs across an organization is a plus.

Able to be highly confidential.

Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Able to work in a team environment.

Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent degree and/or work experience required.

A Master's degree in business, or MBA degree or equivalent degree and/or work experience preferred.

10+ years of experience in a business related function preferably customer service, sales support or sales operations for multi-national companies in similar industry.

Within a sales operations leadership capacity, must have a minimum of 5+ years of prominent, direct team leadership experience at the Director level or above, including building, motivating and performance-managing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.

Able to communicate and make presentations before an audience.

Able to hear and speak into a telephone.

Close visual work on a computer terminal.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.

Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

WORK CONDITIONS

Standard office and Data Center environment with varying temperatures and loud noises.

Extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.

Some travel required, up to 30% of the time.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a current, valid state issued driver's license.
