Intern - Construction Management

We are seeking a Construction Management Intern to join our construction team for the summer. Under supervision, the Construction Management Intern will work in a support role under the supervision of our Construction Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience within residential construction!

As a Construction Management Intern, you will assist with multiple residential construction projects, assist with supervision of subcontractors, and skilled and unskilled volunteers. You will have the opportunity to lead and educate volunteers on how to use tools and equipment safely and assist in different phases of construction. You will also provide inspection or audit work to monitor field activities, participate in estimating, as well as organize information for use in drawings or report submittals. Several weeks will be spent in the field in a laborer role in order to learn the nature of the work.

Position Requirements

Requirements to Be Considered For the Internship:

You will need to be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in an accredited college/university Construction Management or comparable program.

This role requires that you be physically able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions in a fast paced environment.

You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license at the start of the internship, which is anticipated to be late May - early August 2019.
