Description

Assertive Professionals is in search of a Security Specialist to work for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), who will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide highly sensitive Security Support Services for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), including but not limited to, front-end and back-end security intake processing, including:
    • Data, gap and risk analysis
    • Quality assurance
    • Data entry
    • Data processing
    • Records management of personnel security background investigations
  • Utilize the U.S. Office of Personnel Management National Background Investigations Bureau’s Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (E-QIP) system to grant access for applicants to submit security forms and process applicants through the security process

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including 3 years of specialty experience
  • BS/BA degree
  • Secret clearance eligibility

Starting salary: $45,000
