Description

Responsible for operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting all aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. The position requires the Mechanic 'B' to understand airframe systems such as, hydraulics, pneumatic, flight control, engines and O2 systems. The 'B' Mechanic must be able to proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. Must be able to interpret technical manuals and engineering data to support tasks. The 'B' Mechanic must be able to complete assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budget and on schedule while maintaining quality standards and preforming the tasks within the guide lines of safety regulations and requirements.

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures.
  • Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, work in confined spaces in unusual positions.
  • Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs.
  • Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids or cleaning solvents.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous aircraft experience, preferably on Falcon aircraft.
  • Experience in a production atmosphere.
  • A & P License
