Description

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises Summer Food Program Site Assistants.

SUMMARY

The Site Supervisor is responsible for receiving, distributing, storing and accounting for meals at a designated site, and seeing that all program rules and regulations are followed. Duties include interacting with children (up to 18 years of age) and site clean-up.

Assists in the fulfillment of the agency's vision, 'For Those We Serve,' by empowering individuals who thrive as healthy, self-sufficient and contributing members of our communities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supervises Summer Food Program Site Assistants.

Arrives to job site at designated time to receive delivered lunches.

Verifies meal counts from kitchen and records on appropriate forms.

Maintains food at proper temperatures.

Distributes complete meals at designated time and records all dispensed meals.

Completes Daily Check Sheet, Daily Tally Sheet and Weekly Recap sheet.

Calls Food Production Center to place order for next day delivery at designated time.

Keeps facility orderly and clean.

Interacts with children in a professional and appropriate manner.

Follows the program guidelines and regulations.

Submits timesheet in a timely and accurate manner.

Wears protective shoes and clothing.

Completes training course and maintains familiarity with the 'Guide for Site Personnel' handbook.

Adheres to all Fresno EOC Personnel Policies and Procedures.

Travels for agency business using personal/agency vehicle.

Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.

Works evenings and weekends as required.

Performs other duties as assigned

 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. EDUCATIONS:

High school diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one year related work experience in nutrition or food production demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess and maintain Food Handlers card or obtain within thirty (30) days of employment

Familiar with public health regulations.

Physically able to lift, bend, stoop and reach above shoulders, and to mop and clean.

Ability to read and comprehend procedures, calculate arithmetic and complete forms.

Willing to work non-traditional hours and days to meet the needs of this position.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software used to maintain accurate records.

Effective communication and organizational skills.
