Laborer (Seasonal) 


Join the Woodland Park Zoo Grounds and Event Support Team in creating extraordinary summer experiences!

What you’ll do:

  1. Get the Zoo ready for open each day by ensuring paths are blown, viewing glass is sparkling, and restrooms are fully cleaned and stocked for guests and staff throughout the facilities.
  2. Use plan maps and production sheets to setup event equipment, such as tents, tables, chairs etc. for all Zoo events, including event rentals, our annual ZooTunes concert series, tasting events, and more!
  3. Provide customer service while on grounds and engage zoo guests in our mission of making conservation a priority in their lives.
  4. Maintain a world class presentation of the Woodland Park Zoo, by using pressure washers, steam cleaners, and various types of hand and power tools to complete scheduled maintenance of facilities and equipment.

When we’ll need you:

  • This is a seasonal, 16-40 hr/wk, non-benefited opportunity.
    • Shifts are typically 5:30 am - 2:00pm or 2:00pm to 10:30pm, depending on shift assignment.
    • Peak event season runs from May through September, with continued opportunities to pick up intermittent shifts after peak season.
