Description

Join our professional Banquet Team as a bartender serving guests at exciting events; weddings, conferences, meetings, anniversaries, special events, festivals, graduations, parties and other celebrations! Have fun while mixing and serving beverages to guests and supporting servers with drink order service in a friendly atmosphere.

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant's standard drink recipes and TIPS training.
  • Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
  • Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
  • Provides friendly and attentive service to all guests.
  • Responsible for knowledge of events, resort and overall area to assist guest enjoy their special occasion.
  • Offer guests accurate and informed knowledge of all wines, beers and spirits.

 
Position Requirements

Competencies:

  • TIPS/TAMS certification required. Training available if you are not currently certified.
  • Knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
  • Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
  • Exemplify professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in banquets or tending bar.

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk.
  • The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
  • Non-smoking candidates preferred.
