The Systems Engineer is an ERP, CRM and SQL server expert who leads the administration, development, maintenance, and strategy of these systems. The incumbent serves as a specialist in the area of system reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Troubleshoot and resolve all ERP/CRM related software issues, user access, and system challenges.
  2. Proficiency in SQL query language and understanding of relational database concepts.
  3. Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolution, which may involve outside vendors and other support personnel and/or organizations.
  4. Provide technical support for any software and or hardware issues that may arise.
  5. Strong analytical problem solving skills.
  6. Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance for the ERP and CRM systems.
  7. Solid understanding of the software architecture, and the interworking of software modules and components.
  8. Write SQL scripts, queries as needed for reporting, integration and problem resolution needs.
  9. Take initiative within your area and work with minimum supervision.
  10. Stay current with related new technological developments and make recommendations for leveraging these opportunities when applicable.
  11. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL server
  • Provide cross-functional support for stakeholders, leading in the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of solutions and projects in conjunction with ERP systems
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner and ensure confidentiality is of the highest priority in all aspects of duties performed and all communications, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with others as a cohesive team.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate, respond to inquiries and interpret instructions from management, contract representatives, staff personnel and workers with disabilities.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Required: 5+ years verifiable work experience in a technology service position.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Dynamics Great Plain and CRM
  • Preferred: Project management experience
  • Preferred: Experience working with individuals with disabilities
