Share Email Opening Title Manufacturing Engineer, Equipment  Description • Provide manufacturing equipment and processes for new and existing projects to include PPAP readiness, FTQ commitments, cost and safety • Provide technical engineering support for manual and automated equipment • Provide electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic modifications to existing equipment to enhance safety, quality, and performance • Provide manufacturing support on any shift, including weekends • Provide on the job training to Maintenance and Production personnel • Provide work instructions, process monitor setups • Set-up spare parts, preventative maintenance instructions • This is a 2nd shift position.   Position Requirements Troubleshooting of Sonic Staking, IR welding, Atlas Copco Screw Guns, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Presses, ABB/Fanuc Robots, Vibration Welding, Part Detection Devices (proximity sensors, lasers, photo eyes, light curtains) Ability to troubleshoot Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Circuits Competent ability with computer programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, Auto Cad) Effective problem solving skills – root cause and eliminate issues Work effectively in a team environment Ability to lead and complete multiple projects simultaneously and under demanding situation Strong degree of self-motivation and self-direction Strong communication and documentation skills PREFERRED Familiarity with instrument panel and door panel manufacturing processes, systems, tools and materials Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles   Education Requirement High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years' experience required.
