WAGO is seeking an individual to build electronic assemblies according to required specification. This individual should be a motivated, dedicated team player and be able to ensure documented procedures are followed and updated.

Experience Required:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Previous background should include experience in electrical assembly or formal schooling and possess hand soldering skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to read and write in the English language
  • Solid oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
  • Perform assignments by established deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently or with other members of the manufacturing team

Job Duties:

  • Building of all electronic assemblies according to specification listed in drawings, instructions, and IPC 610
  • Operate the wave solder, surface mount and ink jet machines and perform testing of electronic assemblies as required by assigned workstation
  • Assist in training of any new or temporary employees in the procedures of Electronic Assembly
  • Must be able to lift 40 Lbs
  • Once trained and tested on all product groups along with electrical operations, may become an Inspector within Electrical Assembly Department
  • Ensure documented procedures are followed and updated
  • Comply with WAGO Corporation and OSHA safety policies
  • Perform all procedures set by ISO9001-2008 pertaining to Electronic Assembly
