We are looking for a Senior level technical CADD Manager in our Transportation Department with at least 8 years of experience to develop, implement and enforce CADD standards. As a manager and a leader, you will be responsible for software and systems inventories, developing and implementing training programs, and providing support to the Transportation Department. Essential Requirements for this Position: Application of extensive knowledge and training with Bentley Systems, Inc. software products including ProjectWise, MicroStation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads, and InRoads; Experience in 3D modeling using Bentley GEOPAK Corridor Modeler and/or OpenRoads Strong knowledge of drafting standards, CADD techniques, math, engineering and computer science Proficient with Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office 365, etc.) Knowledge of AutoDesk Land Desktop/Civil 3D preferred; Knowledge of GIS software preferred Your Responsibilities in this Position Include: Direct, develop, organize and manage all Transportation group specific CADD related work and issues. Lead effort to optimize CADD processes and workflow. Oversee implementation of processes by working with design squad leads to assure consistency; Manage CADD software settings/set-up to optimize its' efficiency and adherence CADD production standards; Develop and implement CADD training program for newly hired employees; Develop and implement ongoing CADD training program for current employees; Work with external parties (clients, vendors, consultants) to coordinate all project specific CADD related work and resolve any issues that may arise; Considerable drafting/CADD skills are required to analyze, visualize, portray and complete complex design features and drawings from sketches, plans and specification using computer-aided drafting programs Preferred Education and Experience: CADD Certification preferred; Two-year technical school in survey/civil technology along with direct work experience including the use of MicroStation; Eight or more years of successful, progressively responsible work to advanced CADD and engineering drafting experience including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Open Date 3/8/2019   Number of Openings 1   Location Minneapolis, Minnesota   EOE Statement We are an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
