Share Email Opening Title Configuration Management Specialist  Description Candidate will be supporting Project 440. Tasking includes, but is not limited to: Update/maintain/implement the Configuration Management Plan for Project 440, tracking all parts, systems, and software configurations. Candidate will work within the MFS Projects database to track all inventory in order to know where all hardware resides at all times. Candidate will coordinate the kit request process, working with engineers and shop personnel regarding the tracking of hardware, parts, etc. Document, track and manage software and hardware configurations for the project, including Pax River and NAS Fallon configurations. Perform functional and physical configuration audits. Manage maintenance logs and software licenses Manage hardware transfers (in and out) relating to the project, including DD-1149 forms.   Position Requirements Candidate should have five plus years of relative experience. Candidate should have familiarity and experience with NAVAIR Configuration Management and Documentation Management processes, including developing, writing, and implementing CM plans. Candidate should have experience with coordinating and interfacing with multiple teams across different disciplines, including management, development, production, test, and operational teams.   About the Organization J.F.
