Configuration Management Specialist 

Description

Candidate will be supporting Project 440. Tasking includes, but is not limited to:

  • Update/maintain/implement the Configuration Management Plan for Project 440, tracking all parts, systems, and software configurations.
  • Candidate will work within the MFS Projects database to track all inventory in order to know where all hardware resides at all times.
  • Candidate will coordinate the kit request process, working with engineers and shop personnel regarding the tracking of hardware, parts, etc.
  • Document, track and manage software and hardware configurations for the project, including Pax River and NAS Fallon configurations.
  • Perform functional and physical configuration audits.
  • Manage maintenance logs and software licenses
  • Manage hardware transfers (in and out) relating to the project, including DD-1149 forms.
 
Position Requirements
  • Candidate should have five plus years of relative experience.
  • Candidate should have familiarity and experience with NAVAIR Configuration Management and Documentation Management processes, including developing, writing, and implementing CM plans.
  • Candidate should have experience with coordinating and interfacing with multiple teams across different disciplines, including management, development, production, test, and operational teams.
