Regional Sales Manager 

Description

The primary function is to create new customer (member) relationships for Audigy Group (private practice audiology & hearing instrument specialist clinics) that have active hearing aid dispensing departments. The result is a new member agreeing to purchase hearing aids through our 5 strategic hearing aid manufacturers and in return getting access to Audigy Group's leading Practice Development consulting model for Audiology and Hearing practices.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY RESULT AREAS)

The areas of responsibilities include:

  • Achieving their new member net hearing instrument purchasing relationship sales quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Develop relationships with all prospect decision makers and stakeholders (owner, audiology director, office manager, front office team) to gain buy-in and result in a new member to Audigy Group
  • Preparing an annual territory business plan. The plan should be reviewed and updated quarterly with regional director and inside sales counter part. Plan should include:
  • Sales growth that coincides with corporate goals
  • Appropriate zoning of customer base in region
  • Directly manage an Inside Sales Manager
  • Work effectively with Inside Sales in prospecting, developing and recruiting new customers each month
  • Developing effective communication/platform presentation skills in order to convincingly present/sell Audigy Group's Practice Development service delivery model to prospective members
  • Develop tailored presentation proposals that address the prospects specifics needs, demonstrates a strong ROI, and how Audigy Group's model can deliver the desired outcomes, commonly profitability and quality of life goals
  • Develop an ongoing working knowledge of Audigy Medical's service deliver model, software platforms, and shared services
  • Develop private practice audiology clinical and management knowledge
  • Tailor presentations to potentially three unique audiences; owner/providers, office managers, and front/back office teams
  • Attend industry events such as AAA, ADA, etc. & work Audigy Group's booth
  • Ability and openness to presenting at industry events
  • Maintain the accuracy of the Audigy Group prospect database in their individual region(s)
  • Completing appropriate sales and corporate reporting requirements in a timely fashion
  • Maintaining proper professional standards of behavior and decorum as a representative of the company when communicating with customers, coworkers and representing Audigy Group at national, regional and state professional meetings

Position Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience solution selling to Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists
  • Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
  • Working knowledge of audiology terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry
  • Strong relationship network of practicing Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists
  • 4-year undergraduate degree
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with peers and colleagues across different organizational levels at current/previous roles
  • Experience with database management (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Ability to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel (40%-60%) via automobile, plane, or other forms of transportation
  • High energy and self-starter with an ability to work independently
