We offer opportunities to individuals, onsite and in the community, to build employment skills, to enjoy recreational and leisure activities and to achieve personal goals through meaningful experiences and programs. You will be providing: emotional support and physical/hands-on support, including lifting and transferring, helping with lunch routines, personal cares, and passing medications provide support so individuals can be actively engaged in activities they choose such as art and crafts, videos and board games, music and pet therapy, celebrating holidays, book club and cooking provide assistance to individuals going out into the community: push individuals in wheelchairs, help shop and enjoy activities such as the zoo and nature walks provide assistance to individuals engaged in paid employment on site such as packaging greeting cards Be a part of our workplace that’s diverse, team-oriented and focused on meeting the unique needs of people. PAI is seeking applicants who are dedicated, caring, and passionate about supporting people with disabilities, who want to make a difference. Work as Program Associate at any assigned site 1-11 miles between sites; you may work at two sites on the same day. Ideal for an individual that likes variety and is flexible. Mileage paid for traveling between sites. Must have previous experience and be able and interested in supporting individuals with a wide diversity of needs, personalities, and interests including those who need significant physical assistance and/or significant behavioral support.
