Share Email Opening Title Senior Contracts Administrator  Description The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company, which has a successful 50+ year history of providing the United States Military with cyber technology, information technology, financial management, acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, and support services, in support of our corporate operations The Columbia Group, Inc., is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator in our Fairfax, VA Corporate Office, who has solid Federal / DoD experience. This position entails knowledge of FAR, DFARs and other FAR supplements. Candidates will apply principles of accounting and statistics to analyze complex non-technical pricing-related aspects of request for proposals and to prepare pricing consistent with Company requirements to maximize potential profit. The Sr. Contracts Administrator: Process contracts, mods, funding requirements and negotiations. Analyzes RFP's to determine customer's cost proposal requirements and to assist proposal managers in developing Company response. Tailors standard formats to meet customer's requirements. Organizes material according to Company practices and terminology. Prepares summaries for incorporation into proposals; provides contract administrators and proposal managers with information needed for the other parts of the cost proposal. Reviews line inputs to ensure that proposal is responsive to the request for proposal and conforms to our approved estimating system, company policy and government regulations. Ensures that proposed materials meet Company standards and constitute a compliant package. Performs quality assurance review to ensure that all proposal actions relative to pricing are comprehensive, complete and responsive. Coordinates the preparation, publication and distribution of pricing data to line management and contracts administrators including slides for upper management review. Collaborates on the determination of cost proposal policies, standards and procedures and any updates to the approved estimating system. Supports audits and fact finding sessions. Performs other related duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Bachelor Degree plus a minimum 5 years related pricing experience in a government contracting environment. (8 years a plus) 8 years of work experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree Pricing experience a plus. Attention to detail. Very Strong Excel skills. Excellent communication skills. The ability to work well with others and perform under the pressure of deadlines.
