Centered around our cultural norms, the Revenue Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, working to provide excellent customer service through accurately invoicing and timely follow up to customer questions. What are the general responsibilities of the position? Invoicing customers on a monthly basis, including renewals, new customers, and add-on billings Ensuring accuracy of customer data including Setting up new customer accounts in the ERP system and maintaining existing customer accounts Responding to customer billing questions in a timely manner Assisting with collections cycle, including proactive follow up with customers who have past due balances Performing monthly tasks and reconciliations to support the month end close process Collaborating with team members, research, assisting with special projects, and other duties as assigned   Position Requirements What are we looking for in a candidate? Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-focused area OR 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting or audit roles Experience with Microsoft office, including Outlook and Excel Detail-oriented, driven work ethic, and ability to prioritize to meet critical deadlines Ability to successfully deal with questions and resolve issues Strong critical thinking and organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate and work closely with coworkers and customers Absolute integrity and use of good judgment to handle the confidential nature of duties, tasks, and information   Location Minneapolis   About the Organization The Ascentis mission is to create innovative products that are easy to use for the often under-served mid-market that cover the full Human Capital Management (HCM) suite.
