Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm for a maximum of 6 months. Schedule may vary based on departmental needs.  
Pay Rate $10.10-$17.00/hr.  
Description

SUMMARY
Performs temporary maintenance duties for Venues Parks & Art Department at park properties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list represents the types of duties required by the position. Other duties may be assigned as reasonably expected.
• Responsible for leaf pickup, snow removal, custodial duties, mowing, trimming, trash removal, setup for events, hauling tables, and cleaning restrooms.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or combination of education and experience required.
• Maintenance and custodial experience a must.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES PREFERRED
• Working knowledge of City or County government a plus.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATION
• Valid Driver’s License.

EQUIPMENT
Pickup Truck, Snow Blower, Mower, Trimmers, Custodial tools, and miscellaneous hand tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this job include vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet and moderately loud in the field. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet, and humid conditions. Smoke free environment.
