Share Email Opening Title Senior Associate (Digital Campaigns)   Hiring Manager(s)   Category Senior Associate   Description Under the supervision of the digital director, the senior associate will work with AFT's social media platforms and design and develop digital campaigns to support the work of the AFT and our affiliates. The ideal candidate for this position is a digital campaigner with a deep and robust knowledge of social media who can take our social media to the next level and also help inform and support the broader work of the digital team. Work with AFT departments and affiliates to develop digital campaigns to support our work and advocacy goals. Work with the AFT's social media platforms to optimize and expand our reach on social media. Work with AFT's digital ads program to create and implement online advertising strategy. Train local affiliate and national field staff in social media and online organizing. Implement digital resources including Action Network (an e-mail and advocacy platform); text messaging databases; AFT StateWeb (a website management tool for AFT affiliates) and social media tools in coordination with AFT campaigns and priorities. Work with partner organizations to develop coordinated online campaign efforts. Develop campaign goals and benchmarks; test, track and optimize programs based on data-driven campaign practices.   Position Requirements At least three years of experience with digital campaigns in political, issue advocacy and/or labor campaigns. Experience with and knowledge of social media tools and analytics. Exceptional writing skills. Experience developing and delivering training. Experience with union or membership organizations preferred. Familiarity with AFT and/or its affiliates is a plus. Basic web design skills are desirable. Experience with Action Network.
