Pay $55,000 - $65,000  

Omni Air International is seeking a Manager of Inflight Training to develop training programs/curriculum, supervise Inflight instructors, and ensure compliance with FAA/OAI standards.


The Manager of Inflight Training is administratively and operationally accountable to the Director of Operations Training. In the absence of the Manager of Inflight Training, the duties and responsibilities of the position shall be assumed by the Director of Operations Training, who may retain or delegate these actions. Additional duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the Omni Air International Inflight Training Program for Flight Attendants; directly supervise the Inflight Instructors
  • Develop and implement training programs and curricula appropriate to the Inflight training environment
  • Maintain all Omni Inflight training materials and equipment in accordance with FAA approved Operations Training Manual
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and standards of Omni Inflight Training
  • Certification Authority for Training Records
  • Ensure proper documentation of Omni Inflight Training in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Conduct ground school, drills, instructor training, and evaluations (if authorized)
  • Work closely with customers and clients on training and safety matters
  • Maintain close liaison with training facility management to ensure proper maintenance and repair of equipment and other assets directly associated with Omni Inflight Training
  • Responsible for auditing of training records, facilities, instructors, and courseware
  • Perform other duties assigned by Director of Operations Training
Position Requirements


  • Computer proficiency utilizing Excel, Word, Windows, Articulate, Storyline
  • Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience
  • Must be flexible and able to work nights/weekends/holidays
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Test negative on an FAA mandated pre-employment drug test, and on subsequent tests under the Omni drug and alcohol testing policy applicable to employees occupying safety sensitive positions
  • Must maintain valid travel documentation with no impediment preventing entry to all international destinations serviced by Omni
  • Must pass a 10-year Background check including a FAA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Training/Development, Education, or equivalent experience in the airline industry
  • Inflight training experience under Part 121 with comprehensive understanding of Part 121 operations required
  • Previous management experience highly desired

  • Ability to handle numerous activities at once and complete in a timely manner

  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication
