DTS is part of the Xperi family which creates innovative technology solutions that enable extraordinary experiences for people around the world.   Position Requirements As a member of the DTS Professional Audio team, the Audio Production intern will gain practical experience with DTS:X immersive audio technology and ecosystem, including DTS:X mixing tools and processes; DTS:X mixing production workflow for global cinema and Blu-ray content; DTS:X theatrical exhibitor network; and DTS:X technology in Virtual Reality environments. Essential Duties/Responsibilities/Opportunities Learn about and be exposed in a professional production environment to the process of mixing cinema and Blu-ray content with MDA tools to create DTS:X mixes. Assist in managing the DTS:X immersive audio production workflow Observe cinema & Blu-ray mix sessions Participate in DTS:X mix quality control (QC) sessions Attend client QC sessions of completed DTS:X mixes Become knowledgable about Xperi production partners and understand their roles and responsibilities within the production of DTS:X immersive audio mixes Gain exposure to development and integration of DTS:X immersive technology into the emerging world and workflows of Virtual Reality.
