This person tracks warehouse inventories, maintains order of package products, and answers questions pertaining to products. Upon receiving a Class B CDL, this position will split time between driving and inside warehouse activities. This position is responsible for delivery of commercial and residential fuel products, lubricants and package products.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Perform warehouse duties including picking orders, driving forklifts, repacking bulk lubes and greases, sweeping, data entry, organizing and pulling delivery runs and offloading container vans.
Assist with barge bulk fuel deliveries which may include nights and weekends
Operates delivery truck. Delivers full drums and totes to customer locations. Picks up used oil. Rolls individual drums from truck to customer location.
Offloads packaged products from truck into customer stores or warehouse.
Maintains accurate records of all delivery documents.
Cleans as needed to maintain a professional appearance with trucks and facility. This includes washing the truck regularly using high pressure hoses.
Upon receiving a Class A CDL, delivers commercial and residential fuels (heating oil, diesel, gasoline, Jet A), using a variety of truck types often combined with trailer.
Pumps bulk fluids from truck to customer (including residential) tank utilizing hose.
Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections, maintain DOT log book.
Participates in safety meetings and reports all injuries, spills and property damage. Identifies and communicates job hazards.
