This full-time paid internship opportunity will take place during the summer of 2019. We are seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science or Engineering related degree. The preference would be Chemical or BioChemical Engineering. Overview: This opportunity is within the Purification Process Sciences - Technology Transfer group and focuses on advancing understanding of facility pressure distribution during purification processes through modeling. Responsibilities: Applying engineering principles, e.g. fluids and mass transfer, etc, to establish mathematical models to predict pressure drop in the manufacturing facility throughout purification processing. Analyzing inline process data and making operational recommendations. Programming skills for analysis are preferred. Presenting work to a broad range of audience. Required Skills: Sound STEM background and capability of solving complex assignment utilizing engineering principles.
