POSITION SUMMARY:
The System Administrator position is located at Ft Gordon, GA. The position provides enterprise services and help desk support to the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence to include services and support for the enhancement, maintenance, and security of the Cyber Center of Excellence G6’s network, enterprise level solutions, and IT services from the unclassified to Top/Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information classifications. The G6 designs, maintains, and secures IT solutions for the Cyber Center of Excellence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provide VTC Administration by setting up, configuring, and monitoring VTC systems and perform basic troubleshooting and support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS VTCs.
• Responsible for writing and/or modifying programming scripts as needed in order to meet requirements.
• Run various services such as domain controllers, active directory, files shares and group policy as well as perform monthly Security Technical Information Guide (STIG) for all CCoE servers for compliance and produce monthly report.
• Establish active directory accounts and apply file share permissions.
• The contractor shall maintain the CCOE security posture by performing IAVA mitigation on all CAT I, II, and III findings as identified.
• Provide production support to include problem resolution, technology moves, new user’s configuration and user accounts, hardware builds operating systems, application support desktop/laptop roll-outs, administration, etc.
• Have frequent contact with customers and must maintain good customer relations as well as understand and apply the processes of project management.
• Create and maintain Service Desk SOP, TTPs, etc.
• Provide support for mobile devices within the organization for mobile device services, support, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Utilize infrastructure monitoring technologies (ex. Splunk, SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Configure, secure, and maintain network equipment including switches and routers.
• Assist the ISSMs in meeting their duties and responsibilities, such as Tenant Security Plan (TSP), RCERT IAVA incidents, and IA training requirement
• In coordination with the Information System Security Manage (ISSM), initiate protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is discovered and ensure that a process is in place for authorized users to report all cybersecurity-related events and potential threats and vulnerabilities to the ISSO.
• Support implementation of G6 policies and procedures.
• Develop and enforce comprehensive naming conventions, data tagging policies, and data organization for the unit for both CCoE Admin and Training Environment.
• Design briefings, text documents, templates, and other recurring products.
• Provide expertise and assist in the training in using Networking tools, processes, and systems.
• May be required to key COMSEC equipment

  • MUST possess an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information TS/SCI Clearance
  • Baseline certification: Security+ CompTIA commercial certification (or higher, such as CISSP, etc.).
