Description

The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company which has a successful 50+ year history of providing the United States Military with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services is seeking a Program Analyst to provide program management, technical and analytical support to NAVSEA.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage document control and analysis process.
  • Maintain data on a electronic document control system.
  • Provide professional support services to the Inactive Ships Program Office.
  • Perform complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of inactive ships.
  • Provide reports, reporting status, and report metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Participate in all technical reviews including meeting minutes and action item follow-up.
  • Performs tasks to ensure that the inactive ship inventory is managed in a manner most advantageous to the Government to include ship dismantlement, support for weapons effects testing, foreign military sales transfer, and donations.
  • Coordinate details with and between the three Inactive Ships Maintenance Offices located in Bremerton, WA, Philadelphia, PA, or Pearl Harbor, HI.

 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a DoD or Navy acquisition professional services support role.
    (Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience)
  • Candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities and have strong customer service skills.
  • Working understanding of Navy Life Cycle Management planning and execution a plus.
  • Previous experience in support of a Navy Shipbuilding Acquisition or Life Cycle Management Program Office a plus.
  • Candidate must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
