We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or other related fields. Objective/Scope of the Assignment: Determine the interaction between copper levels in the culture media/feeds, intracellular copper levels, mitochondrial function, lactate metabolism, and process performance for CHO cell processes. Primary Duties: The candidate will work mostly in a laboratory, with some supervision from a scientist. The candidate is expected to design and perform experiments, collect data, analyze data and optimize experimental protocols accordingly. The candidate is expected to collaborate with project team members in other departments and present data at group meetings. Requirements: Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2+ Prior laboratory experience in cell biology/chemical/biochemical lab is required. This can include undergraduate laboratory courses or previous internship experience. Knowledge in basic biochemical techniques (e.g. flowcytometry, western blots etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be able to work well in a team structure and collaborate with colleagues in other departments. |
