AstraZeneca is a global, innovation-driven biopharmaceutical business focusing on the commercialization of biologic prescription medicines. This full-time paid internship opportunity for the summer of 2019 is in MS&T department.

We are seeking candidates who are working towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Overview/Scope of the Assignment:

This intern assignment will be within the Automation Engineering department. As part of this group, the intern will participate in engineering projects. These include alarm optimization in Building 636, expansion of an alarm notification system, and migration to the Environmental Monitoring System. The intern will also learn lean principles and assist with implementation of human performance tools into Automation standard work. This position will also include introduction to network configuration and assistance with upgrades to the Process Control Network.

 
Position Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0+
