We are looking for a Temporary Financial Advisor Assistant to join our fun and successful organization for a one-two month assignment. Our Temporary Financial Advisor Assistant is responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to three home office financial advisors through proactive communication
  • Answering all incoming calls and responding to voicemail messages and/or emails
  • Assisting with client servicing requests, including sending paperwork, documenting client records, etc.
  • Providing coverage for service related issues that come into operations and the House Advisor group for non sales related items.
  • Scheduling meetings for the financial advisors and confirming client appointments
  • Assisting in financial advisor and OSJ department in addressing back-to-rep (“BTR”) issues from prior advisors
  • Supporting any mailing initiatives (i.e. regulatory notices) and/or communication campaigns as needed
  • Providing regular communication and updates to the team on all initiatives
  • Participating with the implementation and transitions department to effectively communicate program updates to the team
  • Managing marketing and referral generating training with repless programs
  • Tracking & follow up for time-sensitive monetary and non-monetary items as assigned by financial advisor
  • Communicating with internal departments to ensure we meet our clients expectations for timely service delivery
Position Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry in either a sales or support role, college degree preferred
  • Licenses/Registrations: FINRA Series 7, 63/65 (or 66) and Life, Accident, Health & Insurance preferred, not required
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, organization and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment with poise and professionalism
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (i.e. Excel and all Windows application) and internet navigation
