Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall responsibility for creative, technical and logistical aspects of events including, but not limited to, tours of facility, contacting and organizing outside vendors, and coordinating menus with catering team and Chef
  • Meet and exceed sales projections set by General Manager and COO
  • Works closely with clients to understand and meet goals and desires for event
  • Self-starter who will actively research and identify possible new clients in new markets
  • Willing and able to work varying shifts, weekends, evenings and holidays. Occasional travel may be required
  • Ensures events align with health and safety regulations and crowd management
  • Ensures events have all approvals and permits from State Parks
  • Empowers staff to exceed the guests’ expectations whenever possible
  • Closely communicates with client throughout event planning and during event
  • Execution of all tasks in a timely manner, including invoicing of clients, communication with clients and team, as well as post-event follows up

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Excellent organizational skills and eye for detail
  • Willing and able to work varying shifts, weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Passionate about making sure guests have a positive experience
  • Excellent selling and event coordination skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment
  • Able to give direction and work in team environment
  • Experience with Wedding planning preferred
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years.
  • Reliable transportation
