Share Email Opening Title Office Specialist-7276  Description Position Summary: Under close supervision, provides secretarial assistance to director, office manager, and/or administrative assistants on a day-to-day basis. The work is normally reviewed in progress and upon completion of each assignment to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and conformance to established standards; most aspects of the work tasks are covered by detailed instructions or procedures.   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma and one year work experience in general clerical work, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this position. Licenses, Certifications, Special Requirements: Must type 40 WPM (Full Level CL); 30 WPM (CLII); or 20 WPM (CLI). Must demonstrate 50% (Full Level CL); 45% (CLII); or 40% (CLI) proficiency in grammar, spelling and math. Upon recommendation for hire a criminal background check is required to determine suitability for hire. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, (no DUIs or major traffic citations within the last three years). Must submit a 39-month driving record with the employment application. Must meet the Tohono O’odham Nation tribal employer’s insurance requirements to receive a driver’s permit to operate program vehicles.
