Under the supervision of the Document Management Manager or Supervisor, the Scanning Specialist will be responsible for scanning and indexing documents; will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance, compliance, and production metrics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for scanning, indexing, and verifying records accurately.
  2. Maintain accurate records including quality assurance, conversions, and tracking of documents.
  3. Ability to perform work at established production rates.
  4. Perform minor scanner setup adjustments.
  5. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to operate a computer and basic software knowledge.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instructions and contract specifications. Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from individual workers with disabilities, contractors, representatives, and other staff. Ability to effectively present information to fellow staff, workers with disabilities, and others.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to sit 80% of the work time
  • Lift and carry at least fifty (30) pounds
  • Ability of seeing and having depth perception is required
