PLS Billing Administrator 

Division Power Line Services  
Location PLS - Sherman, TX  

Power Line Services, Inc. (PLS) is a leading provider of high-voltage transmission, substation, and distribution construction and maintenance services. PLS provides the industry expertise, resources and experience necessary to perform electrical transmission and distribution construction services, as well as construction and commissioning of substations, for utilities, regional cooperatives, municipalities, and renewable energy developers.

PLS is currently looking for experienced billing clerks for our Irving, TX office.

Essential functions of the job include:


  • Responsible for invoicing various customers in internal system as well as in the customer portal
  • Communicates with field management to obtain required documents and approvals for invoicing
  • Pulls timesheets, material, and equipment logs to prepare invoices for processing
  • Enters invoices and submits to customers

Account Receivable

  • Corresponds with customers on outstanding invoices
  • Prepare and enters invoice adjustments
  • Documents all transactions for audit purposes

Position Requirements


  • AIA billing
  • Construction experience: milestone, fixed, unit, T&M experience
  • General understanding of GL impact
  • Experience collecting
  • Good understanding of customer contracts and retainage
  • At least two years of billing or accounts receivable experience required; Experience in construction industry preferred
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, as well as good attention to detail are required
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and motor vehicle check, and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Must have a valid driver’s license as occasional travel may be required

  • Understanding of job setup in viewpoint including change orders
